What is the $50 Rebate on Honeywell LTE Fire Communicators?

Wireless carriers’ 3G/4G networks are being decommissioned soon. To ease the transition, Honeywell is offering a $50 rebate for each of its 3G/4G fire communicators that security dealers replace with eligible Honeywell LTE Fire Communicators. These include the HWF2A-COM fire communicator that works with AT&T and the HWF2V-COM that works with Verizon.

Fire communicators eligible for upgrade include:

The Honeywell HWF2-COM series fire communicators are single or dual-path commercial fire alarm communicators that offer contact ID reporting with any fire alarm control panel (FACP) with a build-in dialer. The communicators are easy to install and offer three selectable reporting paths, including LTE cellular only, IP only or IP primary/LTE cellular backup.

The HWF-COM series requires no change to existing FACP configuration with connection to primary and secondary telephone ports. Data transmits over standard contact-ID protocol but is secured with the industry’s advanced encryption standard AES 256-bit.

The communicators include primary power and battery supervision and have a built-in power supply module with an on-board charging circuit design that accommodates a back-up battery.

The $50 rebate on the HWFA-COM and HWFV-COM is only eligible to customers with existing 3G/4G device accounts. To claim their rebate, dealers must conduct the device swap either through their dealer account with AlarmNet 360 or their central station account. Dealers also must scan the QR code or visit hwll.co/AlarmNetRebate50 to claim their rebate.

When an upgrade has been validated, the $50 rebate from AlarmNet will be sent to the dealer based on the contact information provided.
