Our History
SES began with a single, 1,000-square-foot facility in St. Louis. Today, we have expanded to 13 fully stocked warehouses and showrooms throughout the U.S. that provide our customers with the finest low voltage products for everything from burglary to fire protection, CCTV to access control and more.

In 1982 our first location originated in St. Louis

SES expanded to a second location in Detroit in 1988
1990
Our first Chicago location opened in March of 1990
1993
The Kansas City SES branch launched in 1993
1995
Our team expanded to Memphis in October of 1995
1996
In May of 1996 SES widened our reach to Indianapolis
1998
In March of 1998 SES opened our seventh branch in Milwaukee
1998
Chicago’s second SES location unlocked the doors in 1998
2001
Our Nashville branch started serving customers in January 2001
2003
From one office to ten SES extended to another location in Louisville
2007
The eleventh SES branch opened in Omaha in March of 2007
2007
In March of 2007 we headed West and opened a branch in Colorado Springs
2013
Launching in June of 2013 SES set up shop in Dallas

Our most recent expansion opened in 2016 in Austin TX
