When unauthorized egress is initiated, the MiniExit Check delays egress through the door for15 seconds. Meanwhile, the person exiting mustwait while personnel or security respond. Thedoor unlocks after 15 seconds have elapsed,permitting egress. A signal from the fire/life safetysystem will release the lock for uninhibited egressin an emergency.
