New Waterflow Detectors from Safe Signal
The WFDN series of waterflow detectors from Safe Signal improve the performance and installation of water flow detection. With a NEMA 4 rated housing, this waterflow switch can be used indoors and outdoors with a temperature range of 32F to 150F.
These switches are approved for installation on a wide range of pipe sizes from 2” to 8” diameters with schedules 7 through 40. These switches include a visual switch activation, tamper-resistant housing and screws, an optional cover tamper switch, and “Switch Synchronization” to activate both alarm panel and local annunciators such as bells and horn strobes. The time delay feature helps to reduce false alarms from water surges, and the delay time is set using a notched dial that can be set for 60 or 30 seconds, making the delay setting easy to perform in dimly lit areas. Two sets of SPDT contacts are included to activate fire alarm panels and other annunciation devices.
