Full-Featured Access Point from EnGenius Provides Business-Grade Wi-Fi
Installation companies are being increasingly asked to provide improved Wi-Fi coverage from commercial and residential clients. The EnGenius EWS357-FIT is a fully featured remote access point that is capable of the latest Wi-Fi 802.11ax (also called “Wi-Fi 6”) standard, which can provide maximum bandwidths of 574 Mbps in the 2.4GHz frequency, and also 1200 Mbps in the 5 GHz spectrum.
Using MIMO (“Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology that employs multiple wavelengths simultaneously, the EnGenius EWS357-FIT also uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (“OFDMA”) to achieve maximum potential wireless throughput.
Powered by a single UTP cable and PoE, this device has a plethora of commercial grade features such as local or remote management over the Internet, MAC address filtering, and multiple SSIDs so the client can set up separate Wi-Fi connectivity for different types of users, such as employees and visitors.
The EnGenius EWS357-FIT is backwards compatible to all previous Wi-Fi standards so any legacy devices can easily be connected. It’s important to note that if the client wants to use the full dual-bandwidth of this device the clients’ laptop or smart device must also support Wi-Fi 6.
