The Qolsys IQ WiFi 6 is connected to Alarm.com, enabling end users to manage the WiFi from the Alarm.com mobile app. Using the app, users can create and manage profiles, easily scan a QR code to add someone to the guest network and view the number of devices connected.
The product is designed with professional installers in mind and can also be managed via the Alarm.com Mobile Tech App, which can be used to add cameras and provide reliable quality support remotely. It also has auto software updating, an easy-to-use wall mount with built-in cord wrap and an intuitive pairing process to make installation fast and easy.
It also supports three separate network SSIDs so you can manage security devices separately from end user or guest devices. The Qolsys IQ panel and IQ remote automatically move to the security partition when paired and you can easily transfer Alarm.com cameras, video doorbells and garage openers to keep them separate from end users’ tablets, televisions and appliances.
When end users modify their main network, it won’t impact security system devices, thereby reducing truck rolls and providing better quality of service.
The IQ WiFi 6 provides gigabit speeds and uses a self-healing mesh approach. Up to eight devices can be used to essentially eliminate dead spots and extend coverage.
