TRENDnet’s MoCA 2.0 Ethernet over Coax Adapter, model TMO-311C, is designed to connect Ethernet devices to an existing network that complies with the 2.0 standard from the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA). It uses existing coaxial cables to extend a high-speed building-wide triple play network throughout a home or office.

The adapters are designed to support MoCA 2.0 deployment for digital TV, high-speed internet and VoIP single-access subscription service offerings. The MoCA 2.0 standard offers improved packet error rate technology that delivers consistent voice and video bandwidth with reduced latency.

The adapter’s compact design is well suited for a variety of installations, including desktop and entertainment center. Installation is easy because no configuration is needed.
